Granting Romanian citizenship and visas to Moldovan citizens to be debated in Bucharest today
Seniors of the Students League and University of Bucharest along with the Civic Media Association, with the support of the Bucharest University’s leadership will organize today the public conference titled “Basarabia today – Situation of Romanian-Romanian relations”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Romanian media, the public debate, sponsored by Academician Dinu Giurescu, will offer the opportunity to analyse “the aggressive challenges of the Russian strategic policy east of the Prut River” and a series of solutions to facilitate the regaining of Romanian citizenship and granting visas to Moldovans, in the context of Romania’s EU membership.
Academicians, University professors, historians, students, journalists, officials of the Integration, Foreign and Interior Ministries of Romania, will take part in the debates. Representatives of the Romanian Orthodox Church and Romanian Presidential administration will be special guests of the event, while Alexandru Lesco, former prisoner in Transnistria for 12 years, is the honorary guest of the meeting.
The public conference “Basarabia today – Situation of Romanian-Romanian relations” will be held on March 27, at 5.00 pm, at the University of Bucharest, in the building of the Faculty of Law.
