The high school students who achieved exceptional results in sports and arts and who took an active part in extracurricular activities were awarded by the Chisinau General Division of Education, Youth and Sport as part of the municipal contest “Graduate of 2019”, IPN reports.
By this contest, the Division aims to identify, support and encourage the most talented graduates who showcased their skills and civic position in society. The contest involved graduates of Chisinau high schools with remarkable results at school and in extracurricular activities.
The trophy “Graduate of 2019” was given to Cojocaru Gabriel of the Private Theoretical Lyceum “Orizont”. Adrian Crainic of the Public Theoretical Lyceum “Minerva” and Alexandrina Garuța of the Theoretical Lyceum “Iulia Hașdeu” were named the best graduates in humanities.
Victor Baerle of the Theoretical Lyceum “Princess Natalia Dadiani” and Nicolae Ducal of the Theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Viteazul” were nominated the best graduates in exact sciences. Stelian Curca of the Theoretical Lyceum “Petru Zadnipru” became the best graduate in arts, while Sandu Chirița of the Technological Lyceum “B. Z. Hertsli” - the best innovatory student.
Mihaela Galușcă of the Theoretical Lyceum “Ion Creangă” was named the most active volunteer graduate. The title of best graduate in sports was conferred on Vladislav Untu of the Theoretical Lyceum “Alexei Mateevici” and on Milena Gatsko of the Theoretical Lyceum “Universul”. Alexei Kadomtsev of the Public Theoretical Lyceum “Nicolae Milescu - Spătarul” was nominated the best graduate in information technology.
The municipal contest “Graduate of the Year” is held annually. It was at its eighth edition this year.
