Graduate doctors and pharmacists will get more benefits
The graduate doctors and pharmacists will receive benefits if they go to work in the settlements of Moldova, except the towns of Chisinau and Balti, as dispatched. The Parliament passed a respective bill amending the law on health protection.
Thus far the respective benefits were given only to the graduates that went to work in rural settlements. The Government proposed the bill, arguing that some district centres have only 60% of the doctors they need. Given the lack of specialist doctors in certain areas, not all the population of the district can receive the respective medical assistance. The Ministry of Health says that owing to the low salaries, the doctors do not work according to their specialty, but in other areas of the economy, or they emigrate abroad.
The graduate doctors and pharmacists will be paid the rented house or provided with dwelling, will receive monthly compensations for 30 kW/hour of electric power and yearly compensations for one cubic metre of wood and one tonne of coal.
