The head of the General Police Inspectorate (GPI) Sergiu Paiu was involved in a road accident on Gagarin Blvd in Chisinau in the morning of February 23, IPN reports.
The Chisinau Police Division said a taxi driver aged 47 ignored the road safety rules and hit from behind Sergiu Paiu’s car.
No one was hurt as a result of the impact. The vehicles were damaged insignificantly.
