The Government has prepared an ample agenda of manifestations to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the Moldovan State, with a program containing 38 items being approved at Wednesday's meeting of the Cabinet, Info-Prim Neo reports. Government Chancellery head Mihai Pop said the agenda mainly includes conferences, seminars, musical and literary festivals, competitions, and exhibitions. Among its highlights is the establishment of the Order of Bogdan I the Founder and of the medal “650th anniversary of the Moldovan State”. A package of symbols and slogans to be used in the festivities throughout the year will be also adopted. The series of anniversary events will open on January 30 with a festive meeting. Special broadcasts will be aired by the public television Moldova 1 and the National Radio. Other homages include a feature film, documentaries, postage stamp issues, posters, billboards, etc.
