The legislative body must include the issue of the presidential election in the agenda until November 28. Otherwise, the government will become illegal after this date, the leader of the Communist Party (PCRM) Vladimir Voronin said in a program on Euro TV channel, Info-Prim Neo reports. “After November 29, if the given issue is not included in the Parliament’s agenda and no attempt is made to do it, the government will turn illegal. It depends on us if this happens or not. The Communist MPs act as if they are on guard. They demand including the issue in the agenda at every sitting. The only problem now is that everybody waits to see who will speak the first about early elections. In the middle of winter, the parties of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) will lay the blame on the Communists, arguing that the people do not have money to pay the heat bills, but we must hold early elections. I will say nothing. Somebody said something about early elections in September and you know what happened,” said Vladimir Voronin. He stated that not the election of the head of state is important, but what will happen after the President is elected. He also said that there is nobody in the AEI with whom he could discuss the issue of election. “The train departed. I suggested earlier that we should form a broad coalition, but nobody listened to me. They remembered that the PCRM exists in two years, but initially thought that it would be easy to buy two votes,” said the Communist leader. Vladimir Voronin said that if early elections take place, his party may win a constitutional majority of votes. “The PCRM will always exist, with or without Voronin. I discussed with the people and saw that they want the PCRM back to power. They said the ruling alliance did nothing during the last two years. It is normal for a party to want to come to power. What other goal can a party pursue?” he asked.
