The Government committed itself to supporting the organization of the tours of the National Academic Folk Dances Group “Joc” all over Moldova. The tours will be organized from 2008. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism will work out a relevant plan of action in concert with the group’s management. A communiqué from the Government informs that Prime Minister Vasile Tarlev and the group’s artistic director Vladimir Curbet discussed at a meeting the possibility of providing “Joc” with all the things necessary to prepare new dances. No details about the decisions made were given yet. Master Vladimir Curbet invites the lovers of music and dance to a festive concert titled “The Dance is my Consolation …” that will be given on November 30 to mark 50 years of prodigious activity as head of the famous group “Joc”.
