The families that will adopt Moldovan children will pay a fixed tax of 3,000 lei. A decision to this effect was taken by the Government on December 6, Info-Prim Neo reports. Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Family Sergiu Sainciuc said the tax of 3,000 lei represents the price of the correspondence, validation of documents and other activities required in international adoptions. A number of 290 Moldovan children had been adopted by foreigners in 2006-2010.
