Twenty-five young people from Romania, who will study at universities in Moldova, will have a monthly scholarship of 1,500 lei from September 1, 2014. Its size was set by a Government decision. The scholars will also receive gratis places in dorms, IPN reports.
The exchange of students with Romania takes place within the three-year cooperation and assistance program signed by the Ministries of Education of the two countries on February 21, 2014. The Ministry of Education of Moldova needs about 450,000 lei a year to implement the given program.
Based on this program, 50 Moldovan young people will be able to obtain a scholarship to study in Romania this year.
