Government report on ministers’ knowledge of official language is almost ready - Marian Lupu
The Government is drawing to a close as regards the preparation of the report including information about the knowledge of official language of certain members of the Cabinet, Speaker Marian Lupu told Thursday, March 22.
After presenting the report, the Parliament will examine the draft of the ‘simple motion’ put forward by a number of MPs, Lupu stated.
At the end of the past session, a group of 16 MPs put forward a simple motion, requesting to dismiss certain members of Government, as they do not know the official language. According to the Parliament Regulations, the motion must be examined within six days.
The motion presented in late December 2006 requested the dismissal of Minister of Reintegration Vasili Sova, Minister of Transport and Road Administration at that time Miron Gagauz, Minister of Information Development Vladimir Molojen, director of the Agency for Constructions and Territorial Development Igor Semenovcher and director of the Agency for Land Relations and Cadastre Alexandr Bannicov.
