Government puts 16 unfinished buildings, other assets under hammer

The Ministry of Economy's Agency for Public Property on July 8 will conduct outcry auctions to sell 16 unfinished buildings. Tudor Copaci, the Agency's director, said in an interview the buildings included kindergartens, schools, cultural establishments, medical establishments and service establishments located in different parts of Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. The finalization level of these buildings doesn't exceed 60%. The starting prices range from 22,000 lei, for the primary school in Vertiujeni village, to 1.16 million lei, for the medical center in Codreanca village. All the buildings have adjacent land which can be privatized subsequently. The largest lot on sale is the administrative building of the Virusology Intitute in Chisinau, with over 9 hectares of adjacent land, whose starting price is 300 million lei. Other assets will be put up for auction as well, including a pharmacy in Zuresti village, another pharmacy in Iscalau village, and a firm dealing in radio-electronic repairs in Glodeni. Participation applications should be submitted until July 7, 17:00, with participation fees being 600 lei for individual persons and 1,200 lei for legal and foreign entities.
