The Government published the questions of the EU accession questionnaire and the answers given by the Republic of Moldova. These can be found on the Government’s website, IPN reports.
According to Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, these responses provide a picture of the current situation in the Republic of Moldova. “At the same time, we can see what enormous work was done by public functionaries, nongovernmental organizations and people from the diaspora who assisted us in this process. It is important to make known the knowledge that was centralized in the answers to the questions from the questionnaire and to make them accessible to everyone,” stated Natalia Gavrilița.
European Council President Charles Michel announced the decision to grant Moldova and Ukraine the EU candidate status on June 23 at a summit in Brussels, calling it a historic moment. The Moldovan authorities said the unanimous decision take by the 27 EU leaders in the meeting of the European Council is historic and opens a new page in the country’s modern history.
