Prime Minister Dorin Recean asked to think out measures to support the business community in case the National Agency for Energy Regulation increases the energy charges. The statement was made at the beginning of the Cabinet’s meeting, IPN reports
The official instructed the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization to identify the companies that the Government will support. Dorin Recean said that first of all it goes to companies that provide the population with food products and companies whose competitiveness can be affected by the increase in electricity prices.
"We will support them in two ways. The first way is the partial compensation of the increase in these expenses for a limited period, of 3 to 6 months, in parallel with the subsidization of investments in energy efficiency so that these measures ensure sustainability as well," said Dorin Recean.
