Government promises allowances to young doctors who will choose to work in villages
The Government on Wednesday, October 17, decided to grant allowances to young health professionals who will choose to work in rural areas.
The goal of the Government decision is to create proper working and living conditions for the rural young specialists and to motivate them to settle in villages, which are in dire need of specialists.
Graduates of medical higher education institutions will get an allowance of 30,000 lei when signing up for a job in a village, while the graduates of medical vocational institutions will get 24,000 lei for that.
The money can be used for accommodation and utility bills, the Government said.
