Government presents EU’s contribution to Moldova’s development in newsletter

The Government produced a newsletter describing the European Union’s contribution to the development of the Republic of Moldova. It was printed in 18,000 copies and will also be accessible on the government’s website, IPN reports.

The Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă told a press conference that the newsletter lists the main actions of the authorities in implementing projects supported by the European Union.

“The newsletter contains information about the standard of living of the people in EU countries. For example, in Romania, with the accession to the EU and the launch of negotiations, the average salary increased 14 times, standing today at €1,670,” said Daniel Vodă.

At the same time, the ministers and other officials will take part in public visibility events at the local level and will communicate with citizens to explain the benefits of European integration. “Our response to propaganda, falsehoods and lies is information. Correct information, clear information and information to the point,” said the Government’s spokesman. Daniel Vodă urged the citizens to get informed only from reliable sources.
