The Cabinet will have a meeting on February 19 to prepare for the visit of the IMF mission that will work in Chisinau during February 23 – 29, Prime Minister Pavel Filip said at the beginning of the February 19 meeting of the executive, IPN reports.
The Premier reiterated that this mission will assess the socioeconomic situation in the country. He instructed the ministers to thoroughly prepare for the dialogue with the IMF mission.
“If we are prepared and provide solid and concrete arguments, this assessment mission will be followed by another one in March or April, which will have the mandate to negotiate a financial assistance program with us,” said Pavel FIlip, noting that aspects of the preparations for the IMF mission will be discussed on February 19.
