Government pleads for more favorable conditions for pharmaceutical companies

The Government pleads for creating more favorable working conditions for the pharmaceutical companies so that competition generates the best offers of pharmaceutical preparations for people, Prime Minister Pavel Filip stated in a ceremony held to celebrate 20 years of work of the Moldovan-Hungarian company “RihPanGalFarma”, IPN reports.

According to the Government’s press service, Pavel Filip said the enterprise is a success story for the activity of foreign investors in Moldova and the Government will continue to offer the necessary assistance in implementing projects that meet people’s needs.

The Premier welcomed the company’s initiative to launch, together with the foreign partners, a line for producing medicines in Moldova. “Moldova needs foreign investors and will know how to treat them so that everyone stands to gain: the people – new jobs, you – profit, while the state – collected taxes,” stated Pavel Filip.

The joint company “RihPanGalFarma” was founded in 1996 and is one of the first supplier pharmaceutical companies in Moldova. It owns two pharmaceutical storehouses and 75 drugstores that employ over 500 people.
