The Government of Italy provides 54 post-university fellowships for the 2008-2009 academic year to Moldovan people, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of Education and Youth, the candidates must have higher education and know Italian and other languages of international use. The age limit is 38 years, except for the teachers of Italian language and literature. At the pre-selection stage, the application documents will be examined and the candidates will have an interview with members of the joint Moldovan-Italian pre-selection committee to prove that they know Italian and have motivation to apply for fellowship. To take part in the contest, the candidates must submit for pre-selection the application form, a photograph 3x4, the copy of the identity card, the copy of the university diploma, two recommendation letters from university lecturers in Italian or accompanied by translation in Italian, a certificate showing that the Italian institution accepts the given candidate and the research project on two printed pages in Italian or accompanied by translation. The documents for participation in the contest must be filed at the Ministry of Education and Youth by September 5, 2008.
