Moldova’s Ambassador to Austria Andrei Popov will simultaneously hold the post of Ambassador to the Slovak Republic. The Government approved a relevant draft presidential decree.

Before being named as ambassador, Andrei Popov worked as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.

In the same meeting of the Government, Maria Caraus was confirmed as Deputy Minister of Finance. She has held this post since 2009.
