Government nominates 4 more ambassadors

Tatiana Pirvu is to be appointed Moldova’s plenipotentiary ambassador to the Council of Europe through presidential decree, after her nomination was supported by the Government Wednesday, June 30, Info-Prim Neo reports. Tatiana Pirvu currently works at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and speaks French and English fluently. The Government also proposes Iurie Bodrug to be appointed ambassador to Poland. He is the current head of the MFA’s Bilateral Collaboration Department. Meanwhile, Igor Bodiu was nominated for the post of ambassador to Azerbaijan, where he is presently charge d’affaires. Valeriu Chiver, recently appointed ambassador to Austria, will represent Moldova at OSCE and UN offices in Vienna. The former executive of the National Statistics Bureau, Vitalie Valcov, was appointed NBS vice director.
