The Government hosted a Career Fair at which it presented job opportunities in its ministries and agencies. Salary offers start from 8,000 lei, while for managerial positions can reach 25,000 lei. Employers are looking for specialists with higher education and experience in the field, but they are also ready to employ young people who recently graduated from universities, IPN reports.
The Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă said the positions in ministries and agencies are attractive, the choice of candidates being influenced by pay raises. An increased interest has been seen in the field of European integration, especially after the State Chancellery created the Bureau for European Integration that is forming its team from scratch. “We are building European Moldova through competent officials, functionaries participating in competitive contests,” stated the spokesman. He noted that five, six, ten candidates earlier took part in competitions for a vacancy, but now, due to the Career Fair, the number of candidates trebled.
Marcela Fantos, of the General Human Resources Division of the National House of Social Insurance House, said that the institution offers salary and bonuses to employees. Working hours can be flexible, which is especially convenient for people with small children. For specialists who recently graduated from universities, there are job offers where experience is not required.
More than 100 public positions are open for competition on the official website of the National Food Safety Agency and on the government portal cariere.gov.md. Applicants must be younger than 63, be citizens of the Republic of Moldova, have specialized studies. Veterinarian is the most popular position, said the head of the Agency’s Human Resources Management Division Eduard Andrușca.
More than ten vacancies are available at the call center of the Public Services Agency. The Agency also needs desk workers, IT experts. Candidates who want to get a job at the Public Services Agency need higher education. In particular cases, experience is not mandatory. For the position of senior desk specialist, the salary is 8,500 – 9,500 lei, said the head of the Agency’s Human Resources Division Dan Carauș.
Parliament representatives came to the fair with four vacant positions in the IT sector and in the General Parliamentary Documentation Division. Candidates must have higher education, hold the nationality of the Republic of Moldova, know the Romanian language and the official languages of interethnic communication.
