Government extends term for returning goods to state reserve

The executive decided to extend the period during which the goods borrowed from the state reserve can be returned up to six months. This term now varies from three to six months, Info-Prim Neo reports. Vasile Pantea, director general of the Agency for Material Reserves, said the move will enable the beneficiaries to better use the borrowed goods. In the agricultural sector for example, most of the economic entities can return the goods only when they gather the new harvest. The amendments approved by the Government suggest empowering the Premier by law to order the immediate release of goods from the state reserve so as to solve certain problems in emergencies.
