The Government supports the ratification of the agreement with Romania on the mutual recognition of diplomas, certificates and scientific titles, IPN reports.
The document stipulates the methods of recognizing the types of documents of study at all the levels of education, starting with general education and ending with scientific and scientific-teaching titles. It will facilitate the academic and professional mobility of the citizens of the two countries and the recognition, at foreign level, of documents of study obtained in the Republic of Moldova.
The agreement also contains regulations on the mutual recognition of the documents of study obtained before the Republic of Moldova joined the Bologna Process. This way, there will be recognized and equated the documents of study issued after the graduation of a general education institution, after studying for ten or eleven years, as it was before 12-year lyceum education was introduced.
The agreement was signed in Bucharest on November 23 and is to be ratified by Parliament for taking effect.
