The Cabinet approved the plan of action for the reintegration of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova who returned from abroad for 2017-2020, IPN reports.

The document is aimed at developing programs and services intended for Moldovans who returned from abroad. These provide the supported needed in reintegration.

Among the planned measures are: to diversify and improve the school (re)integration measures and services, programs for the youth and the elderly and employment measures; to disseminate information about the possibilities of accessing funds intended for Moldovans who returned from abroad; to implement and diversify programs to attract remittances to develop the national economy.

There will be set up an inter-ministerial committee on diaspora, migration and development and approved the mechanism for coordinating and implementing the state policy in the field by the central and local public authorities.

Thus, the responsible institutions will apply the integrated approach in the field of diaspora, migration and development in the working programs and will assess the migration impact.

The goal is to ensure the efficient implementation of the policy in the field, to contribute to increasing the positive effects and to reduce the negative effects of migration.
