The latest data show there are now over 73,000 Ukrainians in Moldova and more than 40,000 of them are children.
The functionary also said that the war affects the commercial ties and logistics chains, including of foods and oil products, overburdening the transport infrastructure in Moldova. Consequently, solutions and measures need to be agreed to strengthen the vital processes in the country and the region. The risks related to the supply of Moldova with electricity, natural gas and fuels persist and the extension of the state of emergency will enable to intervene promptly.
