A crisis cell will work within the Government as from December 26. All institutions are mobilized to ensure the security of citizens during the winter holidays, as well as to manage possible interruptions in the supply of electricity, IPN reports.
In the event of possible power outages, hospitals and health facilities will continue to operate without interruption, schools will switch over to generators (if interruptions occur after students' vacation), and the authorities will work with mobile network operators to guarantee connectivity in emergency situations.
During the holidays, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will intensify patrolling on roads, at events and will manage road traffic in crowded places.
The Border Police will ensure the management of passenger flows and will increase the capacity of the teams at border crossing points, if necessary.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the roads, while the National Food Safety Agency will entrust the product quality control.
