A bust of poet, screenwriter and director Emil Loteanu, whose movies are well known in the country and abroad, will be set up in Clocusna village, Ocnita, in accordance with a Government Decision. Emil Loteanu promoted many Moldovan actors, including Grigore Grigoriu, Svetlana Toma, Maria Sagaidac, and Mircea and Victor Sotzki-Voinicescu, Info-Prim Neo reports. Emil Loteanu was awarded the Order of the Republic. He is an Emeritus Master of Arts of Moldova and People’s Artist of Russia. The Government also decided to name the agroindustrial college in Grinauti village, Ocnita, “Gheorghe Raducan”. Cheorge Raducan had headed this institution for 25 years, transforming it into a prominent school for preparing workers for the milk and meat industries. He was conferred the title of Eminent Figure of Public Education, was a member of Parliament in 1990-1994. A statue of the Romanian she-wolf will be placed in the Edinet district center. It was donated by the League of the Romanian Everywhere.
