Government approves program of country reintegration activities
The executive endorsed the program of activities aimed at reintegrating
the country for 2011, which will be carried out with the 10 million lei
earmarked in the state budget for the purpose, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Deputy Prime Minister Eugen Carpov said the measures include provision
of financial assistance to lyceums in Tiraspol, Grigoripol, Dubasari,
Rtbnitsa and Corjva, boarding schools in Bender, Romanian teaching
secondary schools in Corjiova şi Roghi. The Dubasari high school “Mihai
Eminescu” will receive support to remove the damage caused during the
local elections, while the kindergarten in Cosnita village of Dubasari
district will be offered assistance to purchase equipment and resume
work.
A part of the money will be distributed to settlements situated in the
security area for repairing social-cultural facilities and the water
supply and sewerage systems. There will be repaired the ferry in
Malovata and deepened the riverbed of Nistru and reconstructed the main
road in Harbovat, Anenii-Noi. Money will be allocated for protecting
elderly persons and persons with disabilities and for building a
rehabilitation centre for elderly persons in Varnita village.
Eugen Carpov said funds were earmarked for improving the process of
informing the people living on the left bank of the Nistru and
publishing informative materials and collections of documents.
He also said that a sum of 10 million lei was planned in the 2010 state
budget for reintegration activities as well, but it hasn’t been used.
