In 2015-2016, the government will allot 12 Republican Scholarships for undergraduate and master's students, including students of medicine and pharmaceutics. The scholarships amounts to 1320 lei per month and the list of recipients was approved today, IPN reports.

Additionally, 15 scholarships will be offered by the President, including 10 for undergraduate and master's students, including students of medicine and pharmaceutics, who will receive 1200 lei per month, and 5 for students in post-secondary vocational education, who will receive 930 lei per month.

Thirty students will receive the Government's scholarship of 1100 lei per month, while 20 Gaudeamus scholarships will be awarded to students in post-secondary vocational education.

The Ministry of Education examined the scholarship applications of 81 candidates from 16 higher education institutions. The stipends will be paid by each university from the money offered by the government.
