The Government has approved the first state aid mechanism for investments in industry. The mechanism will be implemented between 2025-2036, with the possibility of extension. The state will reimburse 60% of the investment. 75% of the amount will be allocated in the form of 50% income tax exemptions and 25% - in the form of grants.

The total budget of this mechanism is at least 2 billion lei, with the possibility of its extension in case of higher demand.

The state aid provider is the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization. Applications can be submitted from January 1.
