Republic of Moldova will participate in the world exhibition "Expo Osaka 2025", which will take place in Japan from April 13 to October 13, 2025. The opening will gather over 150 countries and the number of visitors is estimated at 28 million people, IPN reports.
The government has probed a draft that envisages providing funding for the country's participation in the expo from the account and within the limits of allocations provided in the budget of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDEM).
"The country's participation in this exhibition is an opportunity for international promotion, as well as an opportunity to present the potential in various sectors of the national economy. At the same time, Japan is an important economic partner for the Republic of Moldova and a donor of technical and financial assistance", MDED said.
At the previous exhibition, organized in 2021 in Dubai, 174 thousand people from 113 countries visited the pavilion of the Republic of Moldova, where 27 activities were held and 70 delegations were received.
