Government appointed two deputy ministers
The police commissioner of the municipality Chisinau, Valentin Zubic, was appointed as deputy minister of Internal Affairs, and deputy manager of Agro-Industrial Company Moldova-Vin, Stefan Calancea, as deputy minister of Agriculture and Food Industry. This decision was taken on Wednesday, 22 February, by the government.
According to prime minister Vasile Tarlev, the new deputy minister of agriculture will take care especially of consolidating the lands. Starting 1 February, plots consolidation and transmitting the plots by legacy is done for free, the prime minister mentioned.
Also on Wednesday, during the government meeting, Mihai Machedon was appointed as state advisor in agriculture problems by the prime minister.
