Government allocates over 1 million lei for CPAR costs

The liquidation of the State Depository and the supplementation of the Public Procurement Agency's staff, done as part of the Central Public Administration Reform (CPAR), required expenses of 439,000 lei, which the Government decided on Thursday to allocate from the 2010 Budget, Info-Prim Neo reports. Other 550,000 lei will be allocated to the National Agency for Competition Protection, which will be the Agency's contribution to a 18-month twinning project aimed at adopting EU standards in the field of competition. 39,000 lei will be also allocated to the Special Currier Service to cover certain costs related to its reformation. Overall the sum allocated by the Government for CPAR-related costs amounts to 1.02 million lei.
