The Government of Moldova pleads for the intensification of the bilateral cooperation in the areas of justice and internal affairs between the expert institutions of Moldova and the UK. The issue was discussed by Prime Minister Pavel Filip with British Ambassador in Chisinau Philip Batson. The two officials discussed the implementation of a number of projects implemented in Moldova with support from the British partners, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, Pavel Filip approved of the UK’s position on the Republic of Moldova, which was demonstrated including trough the All Party Parliamentary Group.
Philip Batson reiterated his country’s readiness to support the reforms in public administration, justice and public finance and noted that a program to this effect, supported by the Good Governance Fund, is to be launched in April.
The officials also discussed the possibility of extending the bilateral cooperation by launching new projects in different areas, including programs of counseling on the part of British experts.
