“Good Roads for Moldova” program to be extended

The Democratic Party has announced the extension of the program “Good Roads for Moldova” for next year. About 2,600 km of roads in all the country’s districts will be repaired and build in 2019 as part of this program. The PDM also promises that at least 100,000 beneficiaries will be annually connected to the water supply system as of next year, IPN reports.

The announcement was made by the leader of the PDM Vlad Plahotniuc after the party’s weekly meeting. “Last weekend I travelled to districts were I took part in a number of events, including in a meeting with people from Micleușeni village of Strășeni district, on the occasion of the inauguration of a road section in this village. In the discussion I had with the people, I ascertained that the people highly appreciate our work and make a clear difference between the activity and efficiency of the government managed by the Democratic Party and of the previous governments that only promised and didn’t deliver,” stated Vlad Plahotniuc.

As to the water supply and sewerage, the PDM set the goal is to connect at least 100,000 beneficiaries a year as of next year. This is twice more than the record result achieved during the past two years. “This is possible if you can efficiently manage the resources of the state, as the government managed by the Democratic Party showed it can,” stated the Democratic leader.
