The fullback of the national football team of Moldova Victor Golovatenco is to sign a one-year contract with Zaria Balti. He will thus return to the National Division after playing for nine years in the championship of Russia, IPN reports.
During the last season, Golovatenco had no longer played as an official footballer at Sibir Novosibirsk. The 32-year-old fullback played 73 matches for the national team of Moldova, by one fewer than Radu Rebeja. In his career, Golovatenco also played for Sheriff, FC Tiraspol, Khimki, and Kuban.
Zaria, which parted company with the international players, already signed Andrei Novicov and Vadim Rata. The team trained by Vlad Goian is also close to signing Alexandru Dedov, Alexandru Suvorov and Igor Picushcheak.
