Glasses for sight deficient children from Balti
44 children from a specialized boarding school in Balti have received pairs of glasses. The donation was made by a private firm, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Health Ministry.
The children underwent a thorough medical examination to establish the degree of their sight deficiency. The glasses have been then personally for each child, reads a communique by the Ministry.
Boarding school mistress Olga Junghina says the glasses are high quality, beautiful and resistant, and will help the children study better. “The children like it to know the glasses were given to them as presents,” she said.
There are 106 poor-sight children studying in that school in Balti.
