The girls who appear in a video hitting and humiliating another girl were identified. They are students of three lyceums of Chisinau, Lilian Luca, deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division, stated in the ordinary meeting of officials of municipal services, IPN reports.

Lilian Luca said that this is an act of hooliganism. The girls are aged between 13 and 16 and study at the lyceums “Ginta Latină”, “Olimp” and “Mihail Berezovschi”.

“The case is handled by the Ciocana Police Inspectorate. We will take decisions about it in the nearest future. Indeed, it is an outrageous case. We hadn’t had such cases in the municipality for a long period of time. The punishment will be appropriate – rather harsh but objective,” said the deputy head of the Chisinau Police Division.

A video disseminated by the media and through social networking sites on February 7 showed a group of girls beating a teenage girl. The police swiftly identified the victim. She is 15.

On February 8, the mistreated girl and her mother filed a complaint to the Ciocana Police Inspectorate. The girl said the conflict arouse on Mircea cel Bătrân Blvd, behind a supermarket, in the evening of February 5.
