A girl aged two years and nine months was hit mortally in Parcani village of Calarasi district in the evening of May 1.
Contacted by IPN, mayor of Parcani Valeriu Cotelea said the girl was walking on the roadside accompanied by a relative. At a certain moment, she jerked her hand and ran onto the roadway, being struck by a minibus.
The driver of the minibus aged 47 is from the same village. He said he didn’t see the child.
