A girl and a man accompanying her were hit by a minibus. The accident happened around noon, on Ismail street in Chisinau. The child was transported to the intensive care unit, but the man, supposedly her father or grandfather, died instantly. Aurelia Mija, inspector of the Traffic Police Public Relations Service, told Info-Prim Neo that the two victims crossed the street irregularly. The driver of the Mercedes minibus was a 20 year old man who didn't manage to avoid hitting the two pedestrians. The girl was hospitalized with associated trauma, head concussion and multiple fractures and concussions. Elena Suga, deputy director of V.Ignatenco Municipal Hospital, told Info-Prim Neo the girl was a in severe state in the intensive care unit.
