A 17-year-old girl was found dead in a forest between the villages Paruceni and Bolduresti of Nisporeni district. She had her throat cut, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, the body was discovered by forest workers on the afternoon of January 24. It was established that the girl set off from her home in Balanesti village to her sister who lives in a neighboring village. In ordered to get to that village, she had to cross a section of the forest. The body was found in that part of the forest. Sources in the Balanesti mayor’s office have told Info-Prim Neo that the girl is from a family with many children that is in a financially precarious situation. Last year, she finished the ninth grade. A criminal case was started over murder, which is punished with 8 to 15 years in jail.
