The 18th legislature of Moldova must be dissolved. In its Tuesday's meeting, the Constitutional Court ruled that the existing circumstances justify the necessity of dissolving Parliament, Info-Prim Neo reports. Under the Court's decision, the non-election of the head of state in the ordinary elections of November 10, 2009 and in the rerun elections of December 7, 2009 is a condition that justifies the dissolution of the legislative body. The Constitutional Court's president Dumitru Pulbere said now that the Court passed judgment, Acting President Mihai Ghimpu is obliged to issue a decree to dissolve Parliament.
