Humorist Gheorghe Urschi celebrates his birthday on January 18. On his 65th birthday, he was visited by Prime Minister Vlad Filat at home, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Government’s press service, Vlad Filat wished the artist good health and thanked him for his work as an actor, stage manager and humorist. “You should know that many people are near you, love you and miss you. I thank you personally for the work you did throughout your career, for your courage and dignity and for the example you give,” said the Premier. He gave the humorist a bouquet of roses and a present. Gheorghe Urschi suffered a stroke two years ago and lost the ability to speak. In 2012, he was conferred the title of People’s Artist for the successes achieved in his work and for his contribution to developing the satirical-artistic genre. Gheorghe Urschi was born on January 18, 1948 in Cotiujenii Mari village of Soldanesti district.
