Employees of the Chisinau Trolleybus Company (RTEC) make harsh accusations against their boss Gheorghe Morgoci, charging him with incompetence, theft and money laundering. They have said Gheorghe Morgoci was earlier sentenced for dodgery and rape. When asked by Info-Prim Neo, Gheorghe Morgoci has declined the charges and says he will sue them for slander. “Angry with the situation in the enterprise because of the economic crisis all the world passes through, some employees do very dirty things and personal attacks,” Morgoci said. “The allegations that I was sentenced for theft, rape and dodgery are not true. They are aberrations. Only the court can sentence that basing on evidence. I have a life and I won't allow them to mar my name with lies, I will sue them. Let them bring evidence,” the RTEC manager says. “There are documents supporting any leu spent in the company. The floods really damaged our holiday base in Vadul lui Voda town and there were big losses. Now the vacation base is ready to start functioning,” Morgoci said. According to him, the situation in the company is enticed by some political forces. “Councilor Alexandru Corduneanu (PPCD faction leader in CMC – e.n.) is calling the employees to protests,” the RTEC manager accuses. Alexandru Corduneanu, in his turn, rejects the charges and recommends Gheorghe Morgoci to seek for other excuses for the situation in the trolley fleet. “I have no relations either with their trade union, or with Mr. Morgoci. They are no relatives to me, neither PPCD members. There is a social explosion, and Gheorghe Morgoci should find other excuses for the disastrous situation in the enterprise,” Corduneanu stated for Info-Prim Neo. RTEC employees ask for Gheorghe Morgoci's dismissal. He was appointed by general mayor a year ago. They want Vasile Rudai, who won the job contest a year ago, as announced by the Chisinau Council. The employees threaten they will go on a general strike and wil halt the public transport within two days.
