The 27-year-old midfielder Gheorghe Andronic has left the Orhei-based club Milsami to play in the Romanian championship, IPN reports.

He has transferred to Astra Giurgiu, where he will be a colleague again with defender Dinu Graur. Earlier in his career, Andronic played for Zimbru, Lokomotiva Zagreb, Varnamo and Degerfors. He has won 10 caps for the national team, scoring one goal.

Other Moldovans playing in Romania’s Liga 1 include Denis Rusu, Igor Armaș, Nicolae Calancea, Eugeniu Cebotaru and Vadim Rață.
