The Government of Germany provides €2 million for doing the structural reform in the technical professional education system of Moldova. The decision was taken as a result of discussions between Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment Vasile Batca and representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, the support is offered within a development project whose goal is to improve the policies and institutional framework for developing dual technical professional education.
The required documents were analyzed and the necessary information was collected. There will be created a database of business entities by sectors and sub-sectors, with reference to human resources. An international expert analyzed the demand of agricultural producers, the supply in education, the main trades and specialties.
By the end of this year, the excellence centers managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment will benefit from assistance in working out education plans, curricula and plans for teaching trades with dual-degree programs. The instructors-dual partners of companies will be trained at seminars. There will be carried out a campaign to promote trades with dual-degree program.
