The newest productions of German filmmakers based on fairytales of the Brothers Grimm are shown monthly within a German Film Festival at the Gaudeamus Movie Theater. The festival is intended for children, adolescents and persons fond of the German language and the fairytales of the Brothers Grimm. At 3pm on September 8, there will be presented the movie “Schneewittchen” (“Snow-white”). Entrance is free of charge.
Contacted by IPN, the festival’s manager Lidia Troianowschi said the movies are subtitled in Romanian. The event started in May and will last for exactly a year. “Every time the halls are packed. Only in June there were fewer people. The viewers include children , parents and grandparents. Everyone is invited,” stated Lidia Troianowschi.
“Those who are interested in the German language are invited in particular as they will ne able to improve their vocabulary and the communication abilities.”
Invitations to the festival were also sent to education institutions.
