Angela Ganninger, the outgoing Ambassador of Germany to Moldova, has been decorated with the Order of Honor by President Maia Sandu, in recognition of her contribution to the consolidation of bilateral Moldovan-German relations.
President Sandu noted that Germany is one of Moldova’s most loyal supporters and thanked HE Angela Ganninger for the solidarity shown by her country in relation to Moldova – politically and economically, and for the support for various projects to the benefit of Moldovans.
Angela Ganninger has received the Order of Honor in particular for supporting Moldova’s European integration and modernization course, and for the generous support provided by the German authorities in combating the coronavirus pandemic.
