Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions hosts Moldovan inventions
Fifteen of the most valuable Moldovan inventions from different fields of science and techniques are exhibited within the 35th edition of the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions during April 18-22, 2007.
The achievements of the Moldovan investors are presented by Ion Toderas, coordinating-academician of the Department for Biological, Chemical and Ecological Studies of the Science Academy of Moldova and Aurelian Gulea, correspondent member of the ASM, head of the Department for Inorganic Chemistry and Physics of the State University of Moldova.
During those five exhibition days, an International Jury composed of 75 experts, also including Aurelian Gulea will evaluate the 1000 inventions from 42 countries, in order to award the best of them at the end of the exhibition.
According to the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the members of the Moldovan delegation are logistically assisted by the Embassy of Moldova to Switzerland, the representative of which participated in the opening of the International Exhibition of Inventions.
At the 33rd edition, in 2005, Moldova was awarded with 2 golden medals, 9 bronze medals and one silver medal, and in 2006 - with 4 golden medals, 7 silver medals and 3 bronze medals.
