A general rehearsal for the military parade dedicated to the twenty-fifth anniversary of Moldova's Independence will be held at 11:00PM on Friday, August 19, in the Great National Assembly Square, IPN reports.

Previous rehearsals took place on Wednesday and Friday on the Chisinau-Leuseni road, which involved troops and over 30 military vehicles, as well as machine-guns, mine-throwers, and anti-aircraft weapons. Most vehicles are 20 years old, and the newest is from 2009.

Foreign military contingents will also march in the August 27 parade.
